The flydubai airline will participate for the first time in the Bahrain International Airshow in 2024, which takes place from November 13 to 15 at the Sakhir Airbase in Manama.
The airline will showcase upgraded cabins of Boeing 737-800 aircraft, featuring flag-ship seats that transform into full-flat beds in business class. Passengers in the cabin will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new cabin interior onboard the aircraft, which is now accessible to passengers in the majority of the flydubai fleet.
In 2024, the airline will launch a multimillion-dollar modernization program, within the framework of which, in the current year, 15 Boeing 737-800 aircraft have been modernized, and by the end of the year, there are plans to complete the modernization of two more. The program will continue until 2025 and will encompass up to 20 aircraft in the fleet, ensuring passengers an upgraded and enhanced experience across the entire fleet.
The modernized cabin interior of flydubai features a compelling entertainment content in the economy class - a full HD screen with an 11.6-inch diagonal with a wide selection of films, TV shows, music, and games in English, Arabic, and Russian.
Speaking about flydubai's participation in the Bahrain International Airshow, flydubai's CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith emphasized: "The Bahrain International Airshow is an important event that highlights the latest achievements and innovations in the aviation industry in the region."
