The 3rd Pinay Pink Bowling for a Cause event hosted by Pinay Ikaw Na in Bahrain brought together 28 teams to support cancer patients. The event included bowling, raffles, and performances, fostering unity within the Filipino community.


3rd Pinay Pink Bowling for a Cause in Bahrain

The annual charity bowling event "3rd Pinay Pink Bowling for a Cause" gathered around 28 energetic teams and generous sponsors. The Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, Anna Jalando-on Luis, expressed deep gratitude to the women's organization for their outstanding efforts in initiating the charitable project "Bowling for a Cause," aimed at helping cancer patients.

She emphasized the importance of friendship and fair play, applying the responsibility of a beginner to the Office of Migration Workers (MWO) Celia V. Kabadong, who opened the ceremony, supporting that "Pinay Ikaw Na" organized this event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and inspiring to see how the community unites for such an important cause that affects the lives of many individuals.

Many organizations, including United Architects of the Philippines, Philippine Bahrain Caregivers Society, Alwali Training & Development Center, and PhilBahMoms, participated in the event. Along with Zumba performances, the raffle prizes added a fun dimension to the enthusiasm.

One of the participants, representing the Rizal Knights team, Ning Thet Ángel, noted: "The event was a huge success. Participants happily engaged in friendly competition, which not only tested their skills but also fostered a sense of camaraderie, creating an atmosphere of positivity and collective motivation."

Rozali Peel from Samahang Overseas Filipino Workers sa Bahrain (SOS Bah) shared: "As one of the participants from our group, it was very pleasant to interact with our fellow compatriot migrants, witnessing how sports unite different communities and seeing smiles on their faces was inspiring." The Philippine Embassy once again demonstrated its commitment to public welfare, fully supporting the fundraiser against cancer.

The collective mindset and overall creation of the event is also aimed at uniting Filipinos in Bahrain to strengthen unity and solidarity in the community, recognizing the importance of giving back to the long term. PIN President Ana noted this.

Participants from different Filipino associations were fully engaged, and the participants applauded, seeing the display of sporting mastery and competitive energy. Members of the Capital Bahrain Noble Eagles and Las Damas de Rizal (CBNE-LDDR) emerged victorious, claiming first place. Atarah 2 became the first runner-up, while the Bahrain Noble Eagles club was the second runner-up. Arvin Kaya from the Philippine Nurses Association of Bahrain Warriors and Eric Serba from the Filipino American Association of Bahrain (FilAm Bahrain) were recognized as the best in the male and female categories, respectively.

It should be noted that the organizers expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
