The Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain has announced a ban on maritime movement for fishermen and recreational boat users. The ban is in effect daily from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to protect the coastlines and enhance maritime safety. According to the ministry, the decision comes to safeguard the safety of citizens, residents, and sailors in the face of "overt Iranian aggression" using missiles and drones, which pose a threat to maritime traffic. The ministry confirmed that the nighttime ban is an extension of previous decisions regulating maritime movement, calling on all sea-goers to comply with the prohibited hours.
