Checo Pérez Out of Red Bull: F1 Preseason Begins

Mexican driver Sergio Pérez is no longer part of Red Bull this season, which has left many fans nostalgic. While the F1 preseason tests are taking place in Bahrain, the new team member, Liam Lawson, has had some setbacks on track.

Despite Lawson's problems, Helmut Marko, Red Bull's advisor, seems pleased with the performance of the young driver, who is now Max Verstappen's teammate. During the preseason tests, Marko praised Lawson's qualities and compared his attitude to Pérez's, whose departure from Red Bull generated controversy last December.

Despite a somewhat rocky start with a spin during testing, Marko highlighted Lawson's enthusiasm and positive attitude. The Red Bull advisor also mentioned that the team made some adjustments to the car that did not work as expected, and expressed his confidence that, over time, the New Zealand driver will prove his worth.

After the preseason tests, the anticipation now turns to the start of the 2025 F1 season, where 20 drivers will face off on track in search of the title. Among this year's newcomers are fresh faces like Ollie Bearman, Isaac Hadjar, and Kimmi Antonelli.

The Australian Grand Prix will mark the start of the season, scheduled for March 13 to 15. Despite the setbacks faced by Liam Lawson during testing, Helmut Marko remained optimistic about his performance and trusts that the driver will demonstrate his worth on the track.
