Abdullah Said reported that the International Federation of Muay Thai officially announced the inclusion of Muay Thai in the Asian Youth Games 2025, which will be held with the support of the Olympic Council of Asia in Bahrain from October 22 to 31, 2025. This is a historic achievement for Muay Thai, which continues to develop and strengthen its presence on the international sports stage, having a wide reach in Southeast Asia and around the world under the aegis of the International Federation of Muay Thai (IFMA), officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in the management of Muay Thai at the world level.
On this occasion, Dr. Sakchai Tabtsuvan, president of the International Federation of Muay Thai (IFMA), expressed his congratulations, calling this achievement a confirmation of the federation's commitment to youth development. He noted that the inclusion of Muay Thai in the games reflects the success of previous initiatives of the federation aimed at fostering cultural, sporting, and educational exchange among young athletes.
