The head coach of Bahraini club Al-Muharraq, Portuguese Fernando Manuel, expressed his dissatisfaction with the 2-2 draw against Al-Wasl in the AFC Champions League. The match took place on Wednesday evening. "We managed to score quickly, and the same happened with the second goal," the coach said at a press conference. "However, the match ended in a draw, and we are not generally satisfied with this result. We played hard in a difficult match against a big team like Al-Wasl." He added: "We analyzed Al-Wasl's style in their last match against Khorfakkan in the UAE league, and we knew that Al-Wasl likes an attacking style. Therefore, it was possible to exploit defensive gaps, and we managed to do so by following the same style and scoring early, both at the beginning of the match and after the break."
