The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain announced that the Electronic Crimes Department of the General Directorate for Combating Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has managed to arrest 6 individuals. The arrest was made following their actions of posting videos related to the effects of the Iranian aggression, sympathizing with it, and glorifying its hostile acts. They also spread false news and incited attacks on sites in the Kingdom of Bahrain. These videos were shared through their social media accounts, which could mislead the public, spread fear among citizens and residents, and harm security and public order. The Ministry confirmed on its official website that the necessary legal measures have been taken and the arrested individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution. The Ministry urged everyone to obtain information from official sources and not to share or republish unverified videos or news to avoid legal accountability and preserve the security and integrity of the nation.
