The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence has managed to arrest 5 individuals and identify a sixth who is 'fleeing abroad'. They are accused of collecting and transmitting precise and sensitive information to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps through terrorist elements present in Iran, as well as recruiting individuals to carry out terrorist plots against the Kingdom of Bahrain. Their actions aim to undermine the sovereignty of the state, its security and economic entities, and to spread fear and terror among citizens and residents, exposing the security and stability of the country to danger. The arrested individuals are: Abbas Abdullah Habib (39 years old), Yusuf Ahmad Mansour Sarhan (25 years old), Muhammad Fadl Hamid (39 years old), Sulhan Abdel Reza Ali (27 years old), Muhammad Hadi Hassan (37 years old), and Ahmad Yusuf Jasim Sarhan (37 years old, fled abroad). According to the testimony of the first arrested individual, whose criminal record indicates his involvement in terrorist crimes in previous years, he received intensive training in Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps camps on smuggling people and recruiting elements to participate in terrorist plots. He and the other arrested individuals took photographs and coordinates of a number of vital and important sites, as well as some hotels in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and sent those photos and coordinates to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, which assisted the process of targeting those locations by the hostile and sinful Iranian aggressor. The General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence of Bahrain stated that the necessary legal measures have been taken, and the five arrested individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
